What We Do

Original IP
Every production begins as original intellectual property, developed in-house. We build stories from the ground up rather than adapting what already exists, protecting the integrity of the work from first draft to final bow.
Creative Development
Ideas are given room to grow. Through workshops, residencies and sustained creative conversation, each piece is shaped patiently before it is asked to stand on its feet in front of an audience.
Production
Gihon originates, develops and produces its own work. From financing and casting through rehearsal to performance, the company holds the thread of every production across its entire life.

We develop work with commercial ambition in mind: productions built to fill major houses in London, across the UK and internationally, and to sustain long lives on stage.
Collaboration

The Journey

A Gihon production is not commissioned and handed off. It is developed by the company from its earliest spark: through creative development, into financing, through the rehearsal room, and finally onto the stage in full performance.

Elvis Payne has a longstanding background in professional theatre, television and performance. Through Gihon Enterprise he now develops original productions: building a slate of new work from first idea to full-scale staging, and bringing together the creative and commercial teams each production needs.
Under his leadership, Gihon Enterprise remains a company defined by its work: distinctive ideas, developed with patience, produced with ambition.
